About this tour

Just before the sun clears the Toubkal massif, the ridges turn gold while the valleys below are still in blue shadow. This hike is built around that moment. You set off from Imlil in the dark with headtorches and climb steadily to a viewpoint above Tizi Mzik at around 2,300 m.

Your guide brews mint tea and lays out a breakfast of bread, honey and olives as the sun comes up. Then a gentle descent in the morning light brings you back to Imlil before lunch. 8–10 km and about 500 m of ascent.
