Mount Toubkal Summit Trek – 2 Days
About this tour
The fastest way to stand on the roof of North Africa. From Imlil you hike up the Ait Mizane valley past the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch to the Toubkal Refuge at 3,207 m, where you eat dinner and sleep in a dormitory.
A pre-dawn start by headtorch takes you up the south cirque to the summit for sunrise and 360° views over the Atlas, before a long descent back to Imlil and the transfer to Marrakech. It's non-technical but demanding – a good level of fitness is required.
