About this tour
Essaouira is the laid-back counterpoint to Marrakech: whitewashed walls, blue fishing boats and a fresh ocean breeze. With a private car you choose when to leave and how long to stay – usually four to six hours in town.
On the way you'll visit an argan oil cooperative (and, if you wish, the Val d'Argan vineyard). In Essaouira a local guide shows you the medina, the Mellah, the Kasbah and the Skala ramparts before you're free to enjoy seafood at the port or the long sandy beach.

Itinerary
Stop 1Morning – Marrakech to Essaouira
Pickup at your door and drive west through the Haouz plains and argan forests, with a coffee stop and an argan cooperative visit (Val d'Argan optional).
Stop 2Midday – Guided Essaouira
Walk the medina, Mellah and Kasbah with a local guide, then visit the Skala ramparts and the fishing port. Seafood lunch at your own expense.
Stop 3Afternoon – Return
Free time for the beach or souks, then the 2.5-hour drive back to your accommodation.
