Toubkal Base Camp Day Hike from Imlil
About this tour
This is a serious day in the mountains. From Imlil you climb the Mizane valley past Aroumd and Sidi Chamharouch and into the high Toubkal cirque, reaching the base-camp refuges at around 3,200 m – right below the 4,167 m summit of Jbel Toubkal.
With 15–18 km and 1,200–1,500 m of ascent in a single day, it is only suitable for experienced hikers in strong condition. Groups are kept small for safety at altitude and a licensed mountain guide is included. The summit itself is not part of this day – for that, see our 2- to 4-day Toubkal treks.
