Private
Imlil Valley & Berber Villages Half-Day Walk
About this tour
This is the gentlest way to get to know the High Atlas. Starting in Imlil, your local guide leads you along mule paths between walnut and cherry orchards, past irrigation channels and stone-built hamlets that cling to the valley sides.
Halfway round you stop in a family home for fresh mint tea and a chat about mountain life, then climb gently to a viewpoint that takes in the whole Imlil valley and the peaks around Toubkal. Around 8–10 km with 300–400 m of ascent, at an unhurried pace that suits all ages.
