5-Day Toubkal Summit & Berber Villages Trek
About this tour
Our most immersive trek combines village life with a summit. For the first three days you walk through walnut groves, juniper forests and terraced fields, sleeping in family guesthouses and eating home-cooked meals in villages rarely visited by tourists.
By day four you're well acclimatised to cross the Aguelzim Pass (3,560 m) to the Toubkal Refuge, and on the final morning you climb to the summit before descending via Sidi Chamharouch to Imlil.

Frequently asked questions
How is it different from the 3-day trek?
You spend three days in villages before heading for the summit, rather than going straight up the mountain.
How hard is it?
Days 1–3 are gentle, day 4 is demanding and day 5 is the hardest.
Can I do it in winter?
Days 1–3 run all year; from November to April the pass and summit need crampons and an ice axe.
