About this tour

A classic traverse that links two of the most beautiful valleys near Marrakech. From Imlil you climb through cherry, apple and walnut orchards to the village of Tacheddirt for the first night.

Day two crosses Tizi n'Tacheddirt at about 3,000 m with sweeping Atlas views before dropping to Laabbassen and Timichi. The final day is a gentle downhill walk along the Ourika Valley to Setti Fatma, its riverside cafés and waterfalls.

Itinerary

Day 1Marrakech – Imlil – Tacheddirt (≈5 h, +560 m)

Drive to Imlil and trek through orchards and the Imnane Valley to Tacheddirt (≈2,300 m). Night in a village guesthouse.

Day 2Tizi n'Tacheddirt – Laabbassen – Timichi (≈6 h)

Climb to the pass, picnic lunch in Laabbassen and continue to Timichi for the night.

Day 3Ourika Valley – Setti Fatma – Marrakech (4–5 h)

Downhill walk through Tiourdiou, Anfli and Tadrart to Setti Fatma for lunch, then drive back to Marrakech.
